Donne In Primo Piano
WORK AND CAREER IN THE WORLD OF CULTURE.
THE POINT OF VIEW OF THREE PROTAGONISTS.
On Thursday 06 May, Rete Rosa hosted "Donne in Primo Piano", a discussion focused on the expertise and success stories of three excellent panelists:
- Annamaria Di Giorgio, Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of San Francisco
- Patricia Buffa, Director of Digital Strategies, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco
- Isabella di Valbranca, Journalist and director
The protagonists of our event are all involved in the world of culture, and although they have followed different paths to achieve their goals, one thing unites them all: the passion for art and culture.
In the world of culture, there is far more accessibility than we think. It was noted by our guests that this industry is so broad that a wide variety of people are welcome, not only because of their ability to contribute new ideas but also because they can help develop new strategies in this industry.
Although this industry is accessible to countless professional profiles, it is still a reality mainly predominated by the male figure, especially in more managerial roles, and still poorly paid for numerous roles within it.
At the end of the event, we understood that female leadership characteristics such as empathy, good listening skills, and, above all, passion are all resources that will allow anyone to be successful in this field and that can help overcome some of the problems in this sector.
Our recommendation is that you watch the event to learn how to take your first steps in the world of culture and how to implement leadership techniques if you wish to make a career in the field.
Enjoy! 🎥 🍿
